How Payslip works

Payslip launches pump.fun coins that pay their holders in a tokenised stock. Here's every step, who gets paid, and what can go wrong.

What it is

Every trade of a pump.fun coin pays a small creator fee. On a coin launched through Payslip, that fee is locked to Payslip's reward wallet when the coin is made. From then on, the fees buy the stock the creator picked, like TSLAx or NVDAx, and pay it out to the coin's holders.

Every payout prints a payslip: which coin, which stock, how much, how many holders, and the transaction.

How a payday works

The payroll machineLIVE DEMO
  1. Fees build up. People trade the coin; each trade adds to its creator fees.
  2. They're claimed about once a minute. A worker claims the fees into the reward wallet.
  3. 0.1 SOL starts a round. Once a coin has 0.1 SOL waiting, the round runs. A busy coin can run a round every few minutes; a quiet one waits.
  4. The round buys the stock. All of it is swapped for the coin's stock, apart from the network fees for sending it.
  5. Holders get paid. The stock is sent to every holder who qualifies, split by how much of the coin they hold. There's nothing to claim.

Worked example (sample numbers). Harbor pays in TSLAx. A round claims 0.1 SOL of fees. Sending it to 250 holders costs about 0.0015 SOL in network fees; the other 0.0985 SOL, about $18 at a $185 SOL price, buys 0.041 TSLAx. A holder with 1% of the qualifying coins gets 0.00041 TSLAx from that round. On a busy coin, rounds come every few minutes.

Who gets paid

  • Holders with $20 or more of the coin when the round runs.
  • Each holder's cut is their share of all the qualifying coins.
  • The pump.fun curve, the trading pool and the creator vault are left out, so the stock only goes to people.
  • No setup. Hold $20+ and you're in. Your wallet needs an account for the stock to receive it, and it opens automatically once your share covers it:
    • Already have the account: you're paid every round.
    • No account yet, and your share is worth at least twice the account's rent (about 0.0016 SOL): the payout opens it first. The rent comes out of your own share, so nobody else pays for it, and it stays in your account. You get it back if you ever close the account.
    • A smaller share is carried to your next round until it's big enough, for up to 24 hours. After that it goes back to everyone's pool.

Where the fees go

All of them go to the coin's holders. Payslip takes no cut, there's no buyback, and there's no team share. The only thing that comes out of a round is Solana's network fee for sending the stock to each holder, a fraction of a cent per holder. Every payslip shows it on its own line.

100% buys the stock for holders

pump.fun locks where a coin's fees go when the coin is made, and removes the admin once it's set. After that, nobody can redirect the fees: not the creator and not Payslip.

Launching a coin

You pick a name, a ticker, a picture and the stock. Then your wallet asks for one plain SOL transfer, and nothing else:

  1. You send pump.fun's create cost, plus your first buy if you want one, to a one-time launch wallet made for your coin.
  2. That wallet makes the coin on pump.fun, with its fees locked to Payslip, in the same transaction as your first buy. Nobody can buy before you.
  3. Your first-buy tokens and any SOL left over are sent back to you.
  4. If any step fails, everything is sent back.

Your wallet is never asked to approve anything else, and no transaction arrives already signed by someone else.

The creator's upside is the same as everyone's: the coins they buy. A first buy inside the launch means nobody gets in before them.

The stocks

Tokenised stocks are tokens on Solana that follow the price of a share, like TSLAx for Tesla. They're issued by third parties (xStocks by Backed is one), and those issuers decide who may hold them; some countries are left out. Holding one isn't the same as owning the share through a broker.

Payslip isn't affiliated with any issuer or with the companies behind the stocks.

$PAYSLIP

Payslip's own coin, launched on Payslip under the same rules as every other coin: 100% of its creator fees pay its holders in a tokenised stock. No buyback, no team share. The team holds what it buys at launch, like anyone else.

Contract address: not launched yet

When it launches, the address will be posted only here and in the pinned post on X. Anything else with the name is a copy.

Risks

  • Payouts depend on trading. No trades, no fees, no payday. Nothing is promised.
  • Coins can go to zero, and so can a stock token's price.
  • Experimental, unaudited software. Bugs can delay or stop payouts.
  • Fees sit in Payslip's reward wallet between claims and rounds, so that part is custodial.
  • Most coins don't last. Paydays slow down as trading fades, often within the first hour.
  • Stock tokens are third-party products with their own rules and risks.
  • Nothing on this site is financial advice.

FAQ

Do I need to set anything up to get paid?

No. Hold $20+ of the coin. If your wallet has no account for the stock yet, the payout opens one for you once your share covers its rent; until then your share waits for your next round.

Do I have to claim my payslips?

No. The stock is sent to your wallet when the round runs.

Why do I see a stock in my wallet I didn't buy?

That's your payslip. Each payout lists its transaction, so you can check where it came from.

Can anyone change where the fees go?

No. pump.fun locks it when the coin is made. The stock is set at launch too.

How does Payslip make money?

It doesn't take a cut of any coin. The team's upside is the coins it buys at launch, starting with $PAYSLIP.

How long does a coin keep paying?

As long as people trade it. Most coins are busiest in their first hour, which is when paydays come fastest.

What happens when trading stops?

Payouts stop too. A round only runs once 0.1 SOL of fees has built up.
